My name is alyssa,I'm 20 years old,I live in Levittown PA and I've had cf since I was born.

I was actually diagnosed using gene information, the first at the time because the CF gene was'nt discovered until 88 and I was born in 87.My mothers ob-gyn at the time of her pregency with me followed her through to my birth and wrote an articale about his techniques using gene informatoin to determine I had CF which he later published.

I also have asthama,MRSA,GERD,CFRD and lots of undiagnosed stomach problems which I've already had two surgeries for.

I had a sister who had CF to but she passed away in 2001 at 19 years old.

I just recently transfered to the Adult CF center at a new hospital which is veery differant but so far I'm liking it

There is such a great wealth of information...and I know you will find answers for your questions. This is Imogene's dream--coming true--a community of cfrs and families--learning from each other.<img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">
