Hello all you new people!!! It's great to see you here! I hope to get to know you all better. Just wanted you to know that the origionator of this thread--"our littledebbie" passed away this summer..she is sorely missed, and we all still haven't gotten over it. If you'd like to know her, her blogs are still here.

I have glanced around the site long enough, I thought it was time to join the conversation.

My name is Kortney
I'm a girl
I'm 25
Diagnosed with CF at 9 months
I've lived in Washington, Oregon and now currently living in Idaho
I've been married since 2004
I'm 5'1, 112lbs
FVC 71, FVC1 51 - My FVC was in the 80's a couple years ago so I'm tying to get it back there
I have one brother (7 years younger) who thankfully does not have CF
I have an obsession with Chocolate and Banana Cream pudding

Hi All, my name is Tammy.
I am 37 years old
I was dx at 14 (although I should have been dx much earlier-Dr's sent me home everytime with cough medicine).
I live in NJ but live my life in NYC
Lungs are bad-PFT's low but--whatever, right?
Pancreas is ok (I think??)
I am single for awhile but its because of CF-just can't deal with telling another person and feeling inadequate, rejected, "not normal", etc
As you can see I am depressed and have anxiety issues.
On the bright side I have 2 Chihuahuas that I love!!
I love to cook--hate to clean.
I love to read
I like to shop
I spend toooo much time worrying about my hair.
I work full time. Actually, that is all I do-work.
I love to drink but I can't do it anymore (like I used to).
Love christmas!!!

pft's are down right now, but usually about mid 70's

Tammy, my son was a late dx also; he was 15 yo. I think he's had every cough med out there too.<img src="i/expressions/coughing.gif" border="0"><img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

I was dx (diagnosed) at 29 yrs of age
I weigh around 140 lbs, and I'm 5'6
I use to owen my own bussiness for about 15 yrs
now I have stoped working ie ( not by choice )
about 3yrs now, and it suck's
I love to go camping or fishing hanging out with my kids
yes,I actually have 4 kids, 1 son and 3 girls
I'm married 20 yrs now
I have 1 dog /9 cats / horses /25 fish /3 birds
they tend to keep me busy

My name is Seth.
I'm a male.
I'm 23.
I live in St. Charles, MO.
I have CF.
I was diagnosed when I was 4 years old (I had repeated sinus infections wherein they cultured PA, and so they did a sweat test).
I'm 5'9 and weigh... too much. I don't know how I manage to both have CF and be chubby. :-/
My last PFT was 120% of predicted, and my FEV1 was over 100.
I have PA and MRSA in my lungs currently. They tend to fluctuate, though. I've had PA eradicated twice in the past without even requiring hospitalization for it. Right now, they're both there, but not really doing anything or causing problems.
I love chinese food.
I play all sorts of instruments (drums being my forte).
I play in a band.
I like indie rock.
Some of my favorite bands are Neutral Milk Hotel, Sunny Day Real Estate, Crumb, The Decemberists, The Appleseed Cast, etc.
I have a Maltese dog named Woody.
I have a girlfriend named Kathy.
I went to college for History.
I write a bi-monthly article for a popular online humor site.
I don't drink or do any drugs or anything like that.
I'm a pretty decent guy, or so I like to think!

I am a mother to one with one baking in the oven (9 weeks pregnant)

I'm a girl.
My son is Noah.
He's a boy (obviously).
He is eight.
We live in TX.
Noah was dx earlier this year.
His dx is complicated.
He doesn't have mutations.
He also has FTT, Autism, GH deficiency, and ADHD.
He's beautiful, and smart, and he loves Spiderman and the band Nickelback.
Noah also has a perfectly healthy almost 12-year-old sister.
I work for an Oncologist.
I love to sing.
We are a very close family.
