I'm a guy
I'm 25
I live in LA because I just graduated from college down here and am doing the acting thing.
I was diagnosed at 6 months. After the doctors threatened to have me removed from my mothers care because they said she was abusing me by not feeding me, she left the state, took me to another hospital where they properly administered the sweat test (the previous doctors somehow messed it up) and determined I had cf.
I perpetually weigh 130 pounds and am 5'9"
My PFT's 60%
I am originally from Seattle
I work in theatre, am slowly getting work in the film industry
I love basbeall, and while I'm sad the mariners imploded at the end of the season, I'm happy the yankees did the same in the playoffs.
My friends and family are more important to me than anything, and I'd do anything for them.
I love to play guitar and write music
I am scared as ***** I'm going to fail as an actor because of cf and not because of my lack of talent.
I love cats and dogs. not happy without one, the other, or both.
I'm glad to be here and looking forward to chatting with some cf people since I really haven't gotten to do that since I was a kid and the docs decided it was a bad idea for us all to get together. We used to have an annual Christmas party up in Seattle which was a blast, but they had to end those. it was really a shame.

We have been told he could die at any time so we live one day at a time. I knew he was sick when I met him, but had no clue that I would watch him go like this.

And then again, I came back to telling Debbie what an amazing young lady she was, and how I would never forget her. I also realized while i was saying these things, the people I was talking to, never met her. And that was a shame.Love you Debbie. You are/were an amazing woman. I wish we could have hung out more...

My name is Brian.
I'm a man.
I'm 21.
I live in New York.
I was diagnosed with CF at about 2 weeks old.
I weigh around 150 lbs, and I'm 5'8.
My PFT's are pretty good, about 96%, and my oxidation is 98%.
I go to college for public policy.
I love hiking, bicycling, playing the guitar, writing music, following politics, writing poems and short stories, art, and talking to people online and off.
My favorite foods are sushi and barbeque.
I'm forever single.
Most little kids annoy me, but some are the coolest people I've ever known.
I'm sometimes depressed but I try to keep a positive outlook on life.
My favorite Presidents are Teddy & Franklin Roosevelt.
For years I've tried to dissociate myself from CF and avoid talking about it, but I now realize that ignoring it won't make it go away.
I'm one of the few Americans that follows World Cup and other soccer events. (The US women's team did very well last time around!)
My favorite band is Alice in Chains.
My friends and family are very supportive.
I love exercising.
My Dr. is the best in the nation when it comes to CF.

I'm trying to learn to sing, but mucus and breathing technique often get in the way of proper vocalization. Are there any tips you could give me to improve in these areas?

My fiance and I have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years now with no success..Its hard when you dont have a cycle or a period to chart off of its just hard in general...Any suggestions ???
