Im a single mother of a 3year old boy. His name is Ethan Theron Michael. Although times get hard, I love him very much & wouldnt trade it for the world!
So far we have been told he does not have the disease, going to keep my fingers crossed here.
Diabetes has been apart of my life for about 3yrs now.

Have a sister with CF and a brother with CF. Brother passed away in March of '07 @ the young age of 27. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him.
Love games, movies and hanging with family.
Involved in my church and currently help out with a prison ministry that I truly love!

I am Annie and I just wrote this whole story on another thread and decided it should probably go here... I am rushing so... I'll let you read this sorry if messy... and will talk more after...

... a friend mentioned CF to me today.... Because of my cough and I was telling her very briefly about being sick all the time... (she is a new friend)...
anyway since I am always trying to find out what is wrong.... I have read about CF a bit... Do you think it is ok to call the CF clinic myself to ask for a sweat test or do I have to go thru my Prim Dr? I have been told I have lupus or pre lupus yrs ago (take meds for it)...I am looking for definite dx so I went to Mayo here in AZ last month.... they did all these tests... but Mayo Dr said No Systemic lupus but the derm said mild skin lupus and the endocrine dr said I had thyroid auto-anti bodies (hashimotos disease or syndrome). I also went to allergist at Mayo... he gave me pulmonary Function test and said I was fine... i have always felt like I have pleurisy when I wake up - he didn't know or ask... but right after I took the test... I started feeling lung irritation... then felt like I had a cold... anyway real loooong story not so short.... I have had this cough for about 4 weeks... and it is typical... I cough all night and when I talk I cough... and I get EXHAUSTED! That's my deal in a nutshell my GF is home and I don't want her to know I am on yet another disease site! ha! OMG!

Oh yes... long hx of Digestive problems... and more! ha!

Have other probs:CFRD(10 yrs),CF related arthritis(25 yrs),thyroid probs,chronic sinusitis,osteopenia,raynaud's syndrome,pancreatic insufficiency

Believe in God and that He is the reason I am alive today!

My boyfriend was diagnosed very young, while still an infant, I believe. He had a surgery too, for a blockage in his intestines, I think. He has osteoporosis.
He is 6 feet tall and weighs 145.
I am a writer/editor, BF is a teacher
BF has two siblings, neither with CF
His favourite food is steak. I am vegan (I don't consume animal-derived products)
BF plays guitar (and is good at it!), has a great sense of humour, loves his truck and loud music.
I love to draw, and in addition to my BF, I live with 3 cats and a dog (who I love very much). I also like to read and occasionally write, and I like to play tennis.
