Your routine?

Ok, well this routine is new to me, so I am still working out the kinks

get up - when the baby wakes up - usually about 8:30 - this will change when school is back in session because I will have to get my son up - so then we'll say, get up: 6:45

anyway - I pop a coke in the freezer and then set the baby up with some toys in the computer room - I set up my neb and pop on my vest - using either TOBI or HS (please don't tell me I am not suppossed to do the TOBI and the Vest at the same time - in order to get the treatment in I have to efficacious with my time) and troll the internets

after this is done, I get the babe up, get my ice cold coke out of the freezer, wash down a few creon and a prenatal vitamin and read the newspaper or watch the Today show with a granola bar or bagel or sometimes maybe even just a cookie

the rest of the day carries on, taking enzymes as needed with my much heathier lunches and dinners (my morning routine is not the beacon of health, I know)

I do my nighlty Vest/Tobi either when I can get my hubby to watch the kids or after the baby goes to bed - usually around 8-9

I take a few puffs of albuterol before bed and the cycle starts again.

Wake @ 4:50am take zithromax MWF, zyrtec, vit C 1000mg, advair, nasacort. Pump for milk for daycare and make bottles up, throw my breakfast of 12 grain cereal with flax seed, sunflowers, and 1/2cup mixed berries in microwave, do 30 min vest with xopenex then either 2 pulmozyme's if I am off tobi or my tobi (yes I also do them during vest), dress for the gym, grab breakfast out of microwave and add 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt.

Workout 6:15-7:00, out of the locker room by 7:25 and on my way to work.

Eat while driving. If I am on TOBI I do my 2 vials of pulmozyme using pari trek s (yes another bad thing, I am working on an e-flow) then I do controlled breathing, coughing, huffing to get anything out that I can.

Work 8-4:30pm

5-8pm: After work can go many ways as it just depends on our energy level etc. Generally: Nurse daughter then either she takes a cat nap or plays with Daddy I do vest and evening neb if I am on TOBI. Make dinner--sometimes. Eat together and feed daughter solids. Then remainder of evening we usually spend together with Lillian. A bath for baby then nurse her and put her to bed around 8pm.

8-10pm: I take my advair before bed with more vitamin C, calcium, prenatal vitamin. Pack bags and get things ready for next day, pick up the house and go to bed! Whew!

Wake up at 5 a.m., pee, take a shower (lol). Then my routine REALLY begins...

albuterol/atrovent with 15 minutes of the vest (sometime 20 minutes if I'm feeling particularly gung-ho); followed by either colistin or Tobi (alternate months); clean and sterilize the used nebs (I'm including this because it takes time and every minute counts).

Take all my a.m. meds: ADEK, Calcium, Actigall, Megace, Wellbutrin, Vitamin C, and PharmaNAC

Eat breakfast - usually a big bowl of cheerios with soy milk and a can of boost + (take 2 enzymes with this as well: Pancrease MT 20).

Get dressed, brush teeth, put on makeup if I have time, but I'm usually running late so my beauty is what usually gets sacrificed ; drive to work; circle and circle and circle and finally find a parking spot...

Get my exercise for the day by taking the stairs in my office building - I'm on the 3rd floor (50 stairs total - I counted )

I usually snack on pretzels, nuts, etc. at work and also get in another can of Boost +. Also drink either water or Gatorade (which I water down).

only work until 1 p.m - get home around 2 and do another albuterol/atrovent and vest treatment, followed by hypertonic saline; then eat lunch. If it's a MWF, I also take my Zithromax and some Iron at this time. I try to get in another Boost + somewhere between here and dinner time - if I miss it, I chug one down right before bed (gotta get 3 in a day).

Eat dinner around 6, do evening treatments just before bed (so I can hopefully sleep through the night) - albuterol/atrovent and vest, followed by colistin or Tobi (depending on the month)

Take my evening meds: Mulit-vitamin, Actigall, Megace, Prilosec, and PharmaNAC

Brush teeth, pee, go to sleep!!

I follow pretty much the same routine on the weekends (I'm a routine gal), except I sleep in a little so the times I do stuff are the only thing that really changes. I try to use my stupid exercise machine too (but that really doesn't happen too often if I'm being honest).

Also want to mention that if it happens to be time to refill prescriptions, I spend a great deal of time on the phone, fighting with my insurance company or in the pharmacy, fighting with the pharmacist...It's important to point this out as it is also a major time taker-upper for me that I wouldn't have to deal with if it weren't for the darn CF.

Ok lets see....

Wake up at 5:30 do my albuteral/atrovent and 3% saline (my dr doesn't like the higher % - not sure why). I do this while lying in bed - probably not the best but hell it's 5:30am!!

Get up, weigh myself to see how much I lost/gained, get a shower, get dressed, take my morning meds: multi-vitamin, calcium, zithromax (7 days a week), bactrim, b-complex vitamin and muco-stop (herbal supplement) and a puff on my serevent diskus. I'm not a breakfast person so I usually grab a granola bar to eat at work with a banana plus you have to wait an hour with the herbal supplement to work otherwise it digests your food not the mucus. Walk my dog then head out the door at 7:15. On the way to work I do my Tobi if it's that month or more saline if not. And I also try to do my acapella during this time as well (I am starting to laugh now when I see someone staring at me with this bright green object floating out of my mouth!). Work from 8:15-5:30 all the while snacking almost every hour and driving the people I work with nuts because I am "so skinny and eat so much!" I take 4-5 Ultrase MT20 with snacks and 6-7 with my lunch/dinner

On my way home I do my albuterol/atrovent and Tobi then head to the gym if it is T-Th and sometimes Fridays. If not I do errands. Get home about 7:30 make dinner, do homework (oh yeah besides working full time I go to school full time online but I graduate this December!) then make my next day's weight gainer shake. Do dishes, more homework - vest while doing homework if I didn't go to the gym and if I feel like it (sometimes I do another albuterol/atrovent neb if I need to), and head to bed at about 11-12...I think I need more sleep LOL!!!

Weekends are not similar!

I try to wake up by 8 and go to the gym both days. Then I do homework and chores. Take my vitamins and oral meds somewhere in there when I remember (I swear I am an a*s and never remember on the weekends but I am getting better!) I do my nebs 3 times a day on the weekends but no vest unless I am particularly congested. Then I go out Saturday night with my friends and try to be as "normal" as possible and dance and have a good time! Sundays are for homework and cleaning and all. I don't like to sit still so I make sure I am running around like a crazy person 24/7

That's my days!!! Doesn't sound TOO bad when I write it!!
