So, I get up around 8:45/9:00 am, wish I had gotten more sleep. Roll out of bed and brush my teeth before pulling the vest up on to my bed and getting my saline ready. Take a puff or two of proventil and then breathe saline for 10-20 minutes depending on how much time it took for me to actually start things. Then I don my scrub pants and a "normal" shirt for my first job and pack my scrub top for my second job. Usually spend the time i'm doing my saline online checking email and talking with friends before I go screaming downstairs, grab fruit and muffins (I make my own. yay food intolerances) pack my lunches (yes, lunches) and run out of the house, usually forgetting something.

I get to work at 10:30 as a math tutor, and stay there until 1:00pm when I go running out to my car to get to my second job at 1:30pm as a phlebotomist. I try to snack before my shift starts in the car, but sometimes this is futile. I take my wonderful pills (or atleast I try) now that i'm not nausous from getting up in the morning. my work day is pretty much always full, I have a list of things that are always my responsibility and always have to get done by the end of the day, in addition to drawing paitents and all that wonderful paperwork business.

I work until anywhere from 9:00pm until 9:45 depending on the night and how things go around us. If i'm lucky, I wind up at home by 10:45pm. If I go out with friends, im usually home around 1am. Then the night med routine gets going after i've made sure the kitchen is spotless and my daily chores have been fulfilled, else I be murdered by my roommate.

most nights, i come home to realize I don't have clean nebs. or wont have clean nebs for the morning. so I clean a few in my little box, with dreams of cleaning them all "the next day" I get online, wind down and then strap in for another wonderful 20 minute session of thevest and saline and a puff or two of proventil. after 20 minutes (or ten depending on how tired i am) I switch out and do my pulmozyme. after that, I unhook from everything and whine to myself about how much i don't want to swallow 20 pills -again-.

On a good night, i'm in bed/asleep by 1:30am. Only to get up again at 9 am and start over. I get fridays off, but I work saturdays. fridays usually consist of calming down from the week and shopping. sundays consist of cleaning the house and getting the chores I couldn't get done earlier in the week done. In addition to all the cooking that needs to be done for the week. This week, I'll be making my bread, muffins and cinnamon rolls. Today, I made split pea soup. I'm so proud.

anyway, that's my day. thanks for reading. I have so many things to keep track of with my diet and everything that this sounds fairly simple to me as i'm typing it! I'm trying to eat around 3000 calories a day on a diet of no wheat, gluten, corn, soy, sugar, or bananas, apples, oranges. I take around 40 pills a day, none of which are enzymes. My life feels so crazy, and yet looks so simple in text. *laughs*

Hope everyone is doing well. It was great fun reading your routines.

My evening routine has just ended, and in record time I will be in bed before 1am. go me.

I am usually up at 8:00 or 8:30 running to the bathroom to pee pee (I do go like 3 times a night too..boo). Then my morning gets started.

Swallow my Prilosec and Fish oil then head to fridge to get my Pulmozyme/TOBI, grab a HTS from the drawer then head to my bedroom to shake things up. I strap on the ol vest start my Pulmozyme, then my hypertonic saline while watching the Today show or playing guitar. This is for 20 minutes..then I throw on my TOBI and do more of the same for 15 minutes.

That's done so I pop 4-5 Ultrase MT-18, do my Advair, Zithromax (MWF), ADEK's, then prepare my sinus washes. Head to the kitchen turn rinse my sinuses real good then shoot some Sino Fresh and Rhinacort up there. I decide on 1 of my 4 breakfast: 1)Oatmeal with flax seed, berries and organic yogurt. 2) Homeade whole wheat flax see blueberry pancakes 3)Egg whites with toast and peanut butter 4)Kashi Go Lean Crunch with Blueberries. All of these are washed down with a huge glass of ice water. I have been adding some Instant Breakfast into the mix.

If it is a later start for my workday I will definately get a good workout before..either run 2-3 miles or hop on my bike for a good hour. I try to get 5-6 workouts a week in. Everyother day I do my weights for my arms, shoulders and chest. Each workout is followed by a nice glass of Chocolate Soy milk.

I then shower it out..cough into the toilet for a cool 5 minutes ( throwing up, never fails) then head off to errands or work. I snack constantly throughout the day on fresh fruit, veggies, granola bars and drink 64oz of water each day. I get a good lunch in, soup and salad or a sandwich with tons of veggies.

Get home from work and work out (if I didn't already do so) or walk my dog for a couple miles. Eat a sweet healthy dinner (with a fish oil pill) then go to band practice or hang with friends. My days are always crazy busy but it keeps me going.

At night I down another hypertonic saline and TOBI (if need be), hit my Advair up, Rhinacort then hit the hay! If I am fighting an infection I will do another vest treatment at night too.

Let's see- my morning routine varies depending on the day:

Monday and Wednesday mornings:

Get up with daughter, get dressed and eat breakfast (usuallly around 8 am- unless she wakes up earlier and eats with her dad before he goes to work).

Try to see how much of my nebs I can get in before one of the grandmothers shows up (9am) so I can go swim. Now-since I got a Trek S- I finish my Xopenex and HTS in the car on the way to the pool, and do my Advair when I get there.

Swim for at least 20 mins (usually only 20 mins), shower at the pool, and come home and do vest (30 mins) and Pulmozyme.

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday mornings:

Up between 8-8:30 am. Breakfast, Xopenex, HTS, vest, pulmozyme, Advair (and go online)-usually time for lunch by the time I'm done. I try to schedule dr appts. for these days. Otherwise, we try to stay home (and get to occasionally-lol).

Monday afternoons:
Eat lunch, play with daughter, read toddler books, do a few chores, start the laundry, cook dinner.

Wednesday afternoons:

Shopping day! Usually takes all afternoon. Come home, cook dinner.

Friday afternoons:

pool for freeswim with daughter.

Evenings:

dinner, play with kiddo, get kiddo ready for bed (8:30) and then start my evening nebs and vest. Online again. Bed usually around 12am.

Weekends are pretty much the same, except I get to sleep in on Saturdays a bit , and go to church on Sunday mornings.

Throw in a date night on Saturday everyonce in a while and the occasional take out meal instead of cooking every single night .

I also use my neb/vest time to clip coupons, plan meals for the week, make my shopping lists, read the newspaper, read my daughter a book, hand sew, put makeup on, etc.- things I would normally do sitting in my recliner anyways .

Oh, I forgot my pills-

breakfast: 2 Ursidoil, 1 GHS, 1 chlortrimton, 1 cinnamon pill (I currently have a sinus infection, so also add a sudafed, 2 advil and an antibiotic)

Lunch:1 viokase 16, 1 source cf vitamin, 1 GHS, and (new) 1 magnesium oxide pill, 1 culturelle probiotic

Dinner:1 GSH , 1 or 2 viokase, 1 nexium, 1 cinnamon pill, 2 ursidoil, 1 singulair, 1 chlortrimaton (and my antibiotic and a sudafed)

Bedtime: 2 GSH, 1 magnesium oxide, 2 advil, 1 cf source vitamin (one culturelle if I'm on antibiotics).

My routine is pretty simple (not a lot of treatments or meds).

Get up and take a shower. Dry hair, do flutter and nasal irrigation. Breakfast (usually oatmeal, malt o meal or pancakes). I take my morning vitamin (multi). Sneak a quick morning snack at some point-- to keep my blood sugar even.

Then there is homeschool with my son and then a bit of housework during breaks. We play soccer or work in the garden and then back to schoolwork. We have a simple lunch and then back to school work for a short time. Have another snack. A couple times a week I dance for exercise for minimum of 30 minutes(raise heart rate).

I usually rest/relax for the rest of the afternoon (do paperwork, read, or blog). We have a large supper. Hang out with my family for the rest of the evening. I take my evening vitamins (multi and vitamin E). I try to be in bed by 10 p.m. I require a lot of sleep-- or I get sick. Elevate my pillows and keep my Vicks handy (help with night time cough or chest tightness).

I drink 6-8 glasses of water and one glass of fruit juice each day (rotate the juice-- grape, apple or cranberry). Something I learned to do when I was pregnant.
