Every time I've had sinus surgery, I've always been on iv meds prior. Then again, I've always been sick enough to need the meds in the first place. The doc has mentioned to me though that it is protocol to do at least a week before and after surgery to make sure everything is taken care of properly!

When I'm healthy, I do 1.5 hours max worth of breathing treatments a day. I also exercise a few hours a week. When I'm sick though, the ivs take considerably more time. Of course!

I suffered for years with really bad joint pain. All rheumatoid arthritis tests came back inconclusive and no doctors were ever able to figure out what caused it. The only thing that ever worked for it was Prednisone.

Cayston and it's machine are pretty awesome! I felt better after my first day of doses the first time I was on it too. Merry Christmas!

I have never gotten a report from my ENT saying anything about sinus deterioration so I find it interesting to read your post! I have had 3 or 4 sinus surgeries, but only had polyps removed on the first one. Thankfully they have never grown back. My issue seems to be the sinuses getting filled...
