Ideal Climate?

My response is EXACTLY what blake (Lance2020) said. Humidity really does make me feel like I'm suffocating. If it's really hot too, it's even worse. I live in cleveland and last summer was so rough. Anytime I would step outside out of air conditioning I would feel like someone put a pillowcase...

    symbicort

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering though if albuterol can be taken as much as I take it if I were on symbicort. I've tried advair (all three strengths) before and needed albuterol just as much while on it or off. I always take what I'm prescribed when I'm supposed to. I've stopped advair...

    symbicort

    Hey all!

I've seen so many symbicort commercials on tv lately and have been considering asking my doc about it. I know some of you are on it instead of advair. I searched for a previous topic about it and found a few where just about everyone said they liked it and thought it worked...

    Hello and a question

Hello and welcome! Let me ask, where are you pricking your finger? I personally have never really had this problem (only once in a while if I needed to change the lancet or something), but I do tend to bleed more if I poke the side of my finger rather than the direct tip. It hurts a lot less...

    condensation in nebulizer tubes

Hey all! So I noticed there was condensation in my nebulizer tube last week. I realized that it was a pretty old set, so I replaced it. Fast forward to now, a week later, and I'm seeing condensation in the tube again! I can't imagine that this is sanitary and can only believe that this may be...

    Feeling overwhelmed and questioning everything

OMG, I totally hear you! I used to have a lung function that was pretty functional for me, even though it was low. I've recently had to mow my own yard(s) now and it is a HUGE battle. Like you, I need to mow the front and back and the front is uphill. It takes me hours to do it because it's so...

yes, Dr. Stern is quite brilliant. I hope your stay goes alright and you do get home soon. Are you from cleveland or are you one who travels from afar to see Dr. Stern? He seems to have a lot of adult patients that come from all over the country which I've always found to be pretty amazing.

Oh, I do go there. I live in cleveland and have been going there since day 1. Dr. Robert Stern actually is my current CF doc and has been since I was 2 yrs old. He does see adults but only adults that he had as pediatrics. I actually don't think he sees new patients at all anymore, regardless of...
