    My daughter is 6 w/cf. Her doctor recommended Delsym for a headcold cough. I think it can be used when they are pretty young (age 3 or so). For me, that is the hardest thing to watch- the coughing all night and her not getting any sleep. I usually use Kid's Nyquil or Delysm or similiar product...

    Anyone done a tune up at UCSF?

    <br>We currently go to UCSF.  We have not stayed there longer than 3 days at a time. Check-in can take a while.  Yes, you can go down to the cafeteria, or out to the street.  There are usually nurses to keep an eye on your child. When our daughter was little (she's 6 now) we would take turns (we...

    Cleaning nebs

    I use our microwave to boil the water, in a glass pyrex bowl with glass lid. Takes about 15-20 minutes (includes the 10 minutes of boiling) depending on how much water you use.

    dairy=thicker mucus?

    Yes, I believe that dairy is mucus forming to many people. The real issue is that milk is heated to extreme temperatures which changes the protein & destroys nutrients. Raw milk from grass fed cows is much better, but raw goat's milk is the best! If a person is going to drink milk, please try...

    Vitamin D

    The best form of vit. D to take orally is D3 or cholecalciferol. D2 is no good, and can be toxic. Also, from what I know, in order to get Vit. D from the sun, you have to be in the mid-day sun, to get enough UVB rays to make Vit. D (UVA rays do not make Vit. D, & are most damaging to skin...
