A Simple Request

Well I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO
sorry if me posting about my Pregnancy anouncement and the fact that I had a pregnancy related EMERGENCY bothered you. Maybe I needed fast advice from everyone here, before I was whisked off to the ER?
"In the spirit of being a support community"? HA! More like "in the spirit of supporting YOURSELF and the few other Anti-babies on this site.

In all seriousness, if yesterday I could have written in the preg category and everyone would have checked it, that'd be great but when I log on during the day for a minute, I don't check each subcategory. Just like if you had put this on OT, no one would have looked. Hmm-is that why you put it here?

Do you-and others who feel this way-have nothing else to do with your daytime that nitpick about who posts what where?

I don't give a crap about anybody posting anything anywhere. If I see its "New Job" or "Soccer Team" related, and I'm not interested I don't click.

Just like I don't listen to every telemarketer, let them finish and then lecture them. I hang up.

Alright babies, go back to playing nice.

Seriously, who cares? I only check this site once a week or so and I only check the adults section. I don't have all day to scroll through sub topics. And when someone has a question that they correctly post in a subtopic, the people who could best answer it never see it. If you don't like baby posts, they are CLEARLY marked. Just don't look at it! Seems very simple to me. This is just an internet forum... take it easy. Get outside and enjoy the beautiful fall...

by the way lightnlife-my rant was not solely directed at you, even if it sounds that way. I didn't mean it to be. I'm just sick of the few people around here that feel that having babies is cruel and wicked and disrespect all who do so. Since your comments were directed at pregnancy, I felt it was directed at me, which at the very least, it partly was.
Even if I don't agree with someone's lifestyle choices, if they're happy and exited I'll still offer words of kindness and congrats to them- It <i>is</i> a support site first and foremost, as you said. I don't have the energy to disapprove of everyone and everything and then treat them that way.

I'm sorry you are leaving, hopefully it will just be a break. You post alot of useful information.

There are people on this site who have helped us through this long wait who don't regularly check the "transplant" section. It will say "transplant" in the title so you won't have to be offended by it. I personally like to celebrate everyone's accomplishments with them. So if good news happens, bring it on. We are all "adults" here.

you everyone's mother? I am very new to this web site as a mother
of  four, 3 w/o cf one with c/f  and I would really like
to say that this is just like a television L- if you don't like the
channel turn it! I have had so much good information from here and
I really do enjoy sharing other peoples experiences, some i've gone
through alot I have not. With my son being  only 8, there are
things i'm pretty sure i'll have to deal with and seeing how others
have delt with things is worth any "trouble" getting to
the info. is( which to me it isn't). So- please chill out- most of
us have more important things to worry about! BTW I happen to love
hearing about babies!
