Completely disgusted with all the drug talk.

I think most of what I had to say has been covered so just scratch me on the side of "get a sense of humor". I didn't even participate in the thread but I did find myself laughing out loud. And I appreciate anything that can add a chuckle to my day. I say kudos to those who can infuse a litttle humor into a touchy topic.

Now, on to my own defense:
Before repeating myself, read the topic I just posted. I will also add that this disturbing topic that I wrote was actually something I decided to to because of the 19 year old guy that decided to post a topic about smoking weed. Didn't you all notice how similar the topic name was, but just a change of drugs? I thought it was f***ing ridiculous that he posted that, so I wanted to also post something ridiculous.

I've been there and done that with the drug scene. It's unproductive so I decided to take another path.

the point is Far', is that although your thread was started with the pot smoking thread in mind, not everybody will see that thread, threads do get moved down the line, so if you were to view your subsequent thread without having seen the previous thread, then someone may mistake your intentions.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

Me, personally, couldn't care less what people discuss.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I don't think this would be much of a community if jokes and sarcasm like that were unacceptable. The less personal and intolerant of jokes a forum become, the less sense of community it has. Kids and teens shouldn't be reading the "adults" section anyway. I'm against all drugs, even alcohol, but I thought the other topic was funny.

Get over it people. Geeze, it was joking. Maybe keep an eye on the kids and make sure they don't come in the adult forum...being as how it says ADULTS. I refuse to censor what I say, and what I do. They ahve been several threads about pot on here. I believe it to be a good topic and something that even myself had questions over. If you didn't like the topic you shouldn't ahve clicked it. I have the feeling that people just feel like arguing!!!!!!! Yes this site it for support, but it is also for questions, concerns and what not. How about next you see a topic of discussion you don't like don't click on it!!!

Is it just me or has this turned into a joke thread?

The point of this thread was not to argue that joking about drugs on the site is wrong-the pot thread was not a joke, and it offended people. The point of this thread is that advocating drug use is bothering some people here.

I personally do not have a problem with a sincerely concerned person coming on this site and starting a thread about their being worried about their pot smoking. You can discuss the topic. The problem I have and others have is other people that respond to those threads adovcating drug use.

I don't have a problem with jokes either. But this one wasn't very funny to me-no I don't hate the person that started it, or think he was trying to be a jerk. He was just trying to be funny and break the tension I'm sure. But I don't like joking about heroin use-and I for one wasn't sure if it was a joke in the first place. I guess I wasn't the only one who wasn't sure, b/c it confused some other people too. I'm guessing the moderator didn't like it either b/c it got blocked right away-has anyone thought of that at all? Maybe the people that had a problem with it aren't totally in the wrong.

Moving on.
