Diaper Rash worse for CF babies???

TRIPLE PASTE, TRIPLE PASTE, TRIPLE PASTE!! That was the only thing that worked for my little one! you can get it at walmart...its a little more expensive but soooo worth it. i like it alot better than butt paste (just my opinion), it seems to protect more. my little one had diaper rash so bad when she first came out of the nicu that i couldnt even use wipes on her for about 2 weeks! i had to wash her bottom with mild soap and water each time. but now i swear by triple paste, i have tried everything and it has been the best for me! yes, we had the same issues with my little girls. I would do the same thing,lay them on a blanket without a diaper on. And when they got older I would just let them sit on the blanket bare bottomed.
My girls are a little older now, but I do know we would get a Rx for an ointment, I just cannot remember what it was.

One of my CF chilren had severe diaper rashes the other had hardly any. Ian had 4 poops or more a day and had severe rashes while Sophie had 1 or 2 poops a day and had almost none.

On another note Sophie needs Liver Meds and Ian does not.
