Did you find out through your medical records?

i've never had them not tell me some really serious like that. or at least not that i know of. the only time i've ever really seen my medical records is when i moved and my old cf clinic gave me a "starter packet" to give to my new cf doctor. i flipped through it and was a little ticked off to see that they had down that i should be watched for depression. that had never been said to me before. kinda makes me want to get a copy of my records now and look to see if there is anything that they haven't told me.

Years ago, my mom had lab work and so they sent her from her doctor's office down to the lab with her file and while paging thru it, she read a note from her doctor which said, "even though the patient lives no where near the rail road tracks, she claims that she cannot sleep at night due to the constant noise"

We lived 1-2 blocks from the train station and it wasn't noise from the trains going back an forth that was disturbing but the crash when they hooked up (coupled) the railcars.
