Do smokers piss you off?

I don't know how anyone can say smokers don't bother them. We have smoking in almost all our restaurants so it makes it very difficult to go out to eat. If smokers smoked in there own home I would be fine with that, but they still smoke in public and they are robbing my rights. I can't breathe around that stuff.

I dunno. I think people here are just a little biased
Smoking is just as bad as a poor diet and sedentary lifestyle, yet I don't see any of you hating on people because they are ruining their livers eating fatty foods everyday.

However, on the aspect of it hurting other people, i can totally agree. Cigarettes do endanger the lives of innocent people, and should not be smoked inside, perioud. I can't imagine that there are still places in the states you can smoke in bars. I've smoked cigarettes before, and it does not compare to a night in a bar full of smoke.

So, on the basis of hurting other people, ya it sucks, but people are allowed to make their own decisions when it comes to their lives.</end quote></div>

People can make their own decisions when it comes to their lives <b>even if it affects the lives of other.</b>

That doesnt make it right. What about the rights of the people that it affect. People have to change their live just so that other people with rights can do thing that hurt them, others, and THE EARTH. This is just a sad sad thing. It makes my heart hurt!!!

A bad diet is not harmful to others. Smoking is. I am not hating on anyone for ruining thier lives I am upset that they are ruining mine.</end quote></div>

I think you quoted me wrong. And a bad diet does hurt people, however it's only monetary (at least in this country).

Okay, try this on for size...

smokers are indirectly BENEFITING me!

Personally right now I'm actually sort of appreciative of smokers. In order to get to the smoking patio at my work, you have to walk right past my door which has a LOT of CF Awareness stuff on it and I'm also selling paper roses for $1 for people to put on their office door to show support. I'm finding that the smokers are generous donors. Perhaps they feel it's a guilt offering or something to donate to the cause <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Just food for thought. Feel free to insert your exhalations of exasperation (not to be confused with exacerbation!) now
