They don't ALL cut themselves with razors. The kids who are described as emo (short for emotional or emote) are usually overly dramatic, have very severe haircuts and make-up. They are not as creepy and mysterious as Goths. The girls and boys look the same.

You know, I actually take offense to this. I know a lot of "emo" people, and they are some of the best friends you could ever have. 5 of them showed up at the ER in January when they heard I was there. They would give you the clothes off their backs if you needed it.

Gee....This whole thing sounds similar to that commercial on MTV, where teenagers talk about hearing about kids "Slomming" over the weekend, and how hard it was to resist. Then they show that SLOM...means "Sticking Leaches On Myself".........BE SMART!

Hey Jane, the link you posted looks like my stepson, rofl, he swears hes not Emo but Goth.
