Happens to me ALL the time. At work today I was noticing that when I was counting money out to customers I would get short of breath. Granted it was quite a bit of money but still.

Hi everyone! Yep, Mel and I discussed this in detail today because I feel like an idiot, not knowing whether this was something she has been doing for a while and I'm used to it, or if it has started recently???? Uggghhh...
I think what Mcgrad said makes sense, cf breath sounds... I have noticed it with most older cf'ers that I talk to on the phone. Like Mel, Josh from Respirtech, and Amy when I met her in person(bittyhorse). Mel takes a breath every few words normally. Sometimes goes longer...but takes one normally every few words. Well, Zoe takes a breath every few words also. She can run all over the yard and it is the same. She doesn't get anymore "out of breath", just stays the same. But she definately does stop every few words for the most part to take a breath just in normal conversation.
She just finished a month of Bactrim for a cough, which is gone now. So I'm not sure what to think....
Thanks for all your thoughts though...Mel and I always seem to come up with these things to discuss and try to figure out if they are cf related...we love it...it gives us something to do!!!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

Love,

Yes I tended to most of the time pre-tx. Now not so much. Although if for a bizarre reason, I begin to concentrate on my breathing i will notice myself a bit breathy talking, don't know why!

I get a bit winded if I am walking and talking on the phone around the house. I don't bother talking after a cough attack....just triggers more coughing.
