heyyy if you have a guy and you tell him you have cf and he cant handle it then he is NOT worth it. there are plenty of guys out there who will care for you with your cf. your still young too, i wouldnt worry too much until things start getting serious. but remember no matter how old you get to always be honest ! !

In regards to telling my partner, it wasn't to much of a big thing. I was coughing a lot and then said "sorry, cystic fibrosis" and then just went from there, if they asked something I would answer.
One time we were in a contemplative mood looking at the sky and I asked if she had any questions. And she said yes, and asked away.
At that stage in our relationship we had been together for a few months, and I knew that it wasn't a problem. It's just a need to know basis kind of thing.
