SL Crash Course

1. Go to secondlife.com
you can follow this link and then click on the text that says 'create a FREE basic account today
From there you follow the instructions and create your own avatar. Once you do that you'll be deposited into a region of SL that is sort of a training ground for how to learn to move around.
2. After completing the learning course, look for a blue button on the bottom, center of the screen that says SEARCH
3. When the search box comes up, type Boomer Island in the gray search bar and hit search
4. Your results will display some icons that show road signs and people. Click on the one that says BOOMER ISLAND Region
5. A new screen pops up that has a blue teleport button. Click that and you'll be whisked off to Boomer Island and the beautiful grounds of CF University!
