I personally could care less if it leaves a bad scar, but i was wondering, is it a REALLY REALLY bad scar or does it get better?

Well, I have the scar that normally no one wants, which is right down the middle of my chest. They went through my sternum instead of under my chest like a lot of people have. If I'm not mistaking, the only reason they did mine the way they did was because I had to have the liver too.

Here are a couple of pics of mine.

This one is of all the scars on my abdomen but the one that goes across my stomach directly under my shirt is part of the transplant scars (this one from my liver).

my scar is from armpit to armpit, its totally faded. Same as the girls above but im a guy...lol....the scar I have from birth (meconium illeus) scar is much worse. I love my scars, but like I said im a guy and it makes me look battle tested, which in ways we all are.
