I wish I had a picture on this computer to post Anna's scar. She told me I could tell you about it. She's in the hospital right now and we are back at Stanford but she told me to tell you about hers.
Anna's is really light and really thin. She had a clamshell that makes a perfect permanent underwire look. Her right side is so thin you can hardly see it, there is about a three inch spot under her left breast that is thicker (wider) because her wound opened up about three days after transplant and she had to have a wound vac placed there.
Then there are also four spots right below the rib cage, two on each side, where the chest tubes were placed. She calls these her gun shot wounds (she says she's from the streets and these are her gangsta wounds, LOL<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0"> ) These chest tube scars are only about 1cm long.
Hope this gives you a good idea of what you can expect. It's not too bad.
