What do we say when asked about children

We used to tell people we were having so much fun practicing that we weren't ready to actually have a kid and cramp our style.

My next favorite thing was that after we adopted our daughter, within two weeks people were asking when we were going to have a second child!! Amazing how people assume your reproductive/adoption life is their business.

When Amy was young, I told family and friends that there was a 25% chance another baby would have CF and we couldn't do that. With people that we didn't know, I would just smile and say something like, 'Yeah, that would be nice (brother or sister for her)' without really getting into it. No one ever pushed past that.

I've been getting asked about more kids alot lately too??? And, I have 2 kids , a boy( no cf) and a girl(w/cf) even???<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">We made the choice not to have anymore even before the dx. I used to say "No two is enough!". Now I say " You know I don't want to have anymore kids, but I'd love to adopt a couple of siblings that need a loving home!". This is actually true but it really shuts people up for some reason??
