    hypoglycemia in CF

I have had these episodes since i was 7, that I can remember..... that makes it 23 years. If I ate regularly I found I would be OK. Now with CFRD things are different, but it's clear that pancreas endocrine impairment is widespread in CFers LONG before CFRD is diagnosed.

And once again, just because it turns on doesn't mean it's giving you the proper dose of medication. Just because the neb cup is empty, doesn't mean your lungs received the medication. Blows my mind how many people may not be getting the medication they think they are .... what a waste of...

    Kalydeco and Class IV Mutations

Pretty sure that the CF Foundation could get in a bunch of trouble from the FDA for promoting off label use of a drug. Although they are not a drug manufacturer, they are funding a great deal of research for these manufacturers. So similar to a drug company getting fined for promoting a drug off...

oooooh ok. Tobramycin is the name of the medical that is administered via IV. TOBI only refers to nebbed tobramycin - never to IV tobramycin. now everything makes sense. TOBI is not messing with your hormones if tobramycin doesn't give you the same side effects. they're the exact same...
