There are many horrible things which happen in this world. If people are not being destroyed by a hurricane or a tsunami, they are being slaughtered by war. Children are captured by pedophiles, raped, and murdered. Floods, ethnic cleansing, earthquakes, economical collapse, terrorists, famine...

A man dies and goes to heaven. Of course, St. Peter meets him at the pearly gates. St. Peter says, "Here's how it works. You need 100 points to make it into heaven. You tell me all the good things you've done, and I give you a certain number of points for each item, depending on how good it was...

    "Life after Birth"

Once upon a time, twin boys were conceived in the same womb. Weeks passed, and the twins developed. As their awareness grew, they laughed for joy: "Isn't it great that we were conceived? Isn't it great to be alive?" Together the twins explored their world. When they found their mother's cord...

    Praise the Lord!

Every day a woman stood on her porch and shouted "Praise the Lord!" And every day the atheist next door yelled back, "There is no Lord!" One day the woman prayed, "Lord, I'm hungry. Please send me some groceries." The next morning she found a big bag of food on the stairs. "Praise the Lord!"...

    Oh No!

It's okay, because if it gets not peaceful again, they can just turn it back off for a while. Meanwhile, though, the purpose of this site is for support, and I think a lot of new people who need it feel more comfortable and are more likely to post without having to sign up first. =-)

Bumper Stickers You Would Like to See

You know the ones that say, "At least I can still smoke in my car"? I want to see one that says, "If you're going to smoke in your car, then roll your damn windows up!" Ha ha! Seriously, though, I don't understand why smokers have to hold their cigarettes out the window to share with the...

    E.D.

When I was taking Zoloft the doctor asked if I was having any problems. Or maybe he was asking about more of a lack of interest rather than ED. Either way, I've not heard it with CF.

    NEWS ALERT!!

Yeah, I agree Diane, and thanks for saying it. That 'finding the holy grail' statement really burned me up. It is nice to hear that research is making progress, but they should present it for what it is; let their yes be yes and their no be no, so to speak.

Anyone from Boise, Idaho or going to their Center ?

I went to the clinic in Boise about two years ago. It was okay. Not the greatest, but definetly not the worst. I remember they only had a children's center and weren't too experienced with adult CF yet. That has maybe changed by now, though.
