Hi peanut

I just had to write and let you know that not everyone with cf is ill. I'm the mother off a very lovely two year old boy. He is in very good health right now. It all depends on the cf gene your unborn baby has. Good luck with what ever you do.

Hi Peanut,
To start off with I cannot imagine what you are even facing right now. I pray for you and I pray for wisdom and clarity for you.

There are a couple of websites that might help you, some aren't CF related but my gosh, they are full of strength and insight.
They are cfhusband.blogspot.com (wife has CF has premie baby)
then there is thestanfieldjourney.blogspot.com (off of that one, click on Mary Grace Summons and also on Miller Grace).

I found these websites to be AMAZING. And I thought of you when I saw them, you might find inspriation there.

Good luck with all that you are facing. You know God has a plan for you and God has a plan for your baby. I encourage you to at least consider facing this challenge head on. God knew your baby before He created him and he knew your baby would have CF, he still chose you to be the mom. That gives me a lot of peace in my own life, some times when I think of challenges that I face, I remember God has a hand on everything I do and everything I am. I just have to remember who is greater than me, that gives me so much comfort. If you are not religious, just try praying and lifting your problems to God. He knows what you are facing, He knows WHY you are facing this, and he knows the reasons for all of this.

If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.

CF is just a PART of my life, it doesn't contol my life.

To all of you who have used inflammatory language (ie: Hughett): SHAME ON YOU! This woman came here for support, not to be made feel guilty about *some* of her options.

Peanut2008,
May you find the strength in yourself to make the decision that is best for you, your fiance, and your 11 year old daughter.

Edit: I am completely, unapologetically pro-choice. I'm not going to make you feel guilty for choosing to birth, adopt, or abort. You have a lot of tough questions to ask yourself. In the end, this decision is yours and yours alone. Do what YOU think is best. Don't let ANYONE make you feel guilty, no matter what you choose to do. Good luck!
