Gas prices

According to my calculations, if you are paying $4.20 for 1 galon of gas, that would be $1.10 per liter (1 Gal=3.785 l and $4.20/3.785=1.109).
Our gas prices will be increasing to 170 yen (about $1.70) per liter.
With the litre to gal and currency calculations, it would simply come out to about $6.70 per galon (at exchange rate of about 104 yen per $1)
So, yep, we are paying nearly $7 per gallon over here, and about %20 of it is going towards the corrupt government to buy golf clubs and go to spas, rather than fix our roads and stop charging us toll fees for the roads that were supposed to be "Toll Free" 10 years ago!

Edited to Add: I forgot to mention these are also Regular Gas prices, and I get High Octane gas for better economy (and performance), but then I always babied my car with high oc!

Someone above did the math(not my strong point) for converting litres to gallons. I am in Australia and currently paying around $1.60 (about $1.50US) per litre for regular fuel and more for premium! lol. needless to say i am walking more!
