Hi Frankie!
Welcome to the site. This really is a great place to come for support and information or just to talk. I love watching The Real World (i don't know why, but I love reality tv) Anyways, I remember when I found out that you had CF. I was really excited that CF would be getting attention. But then I saw how you were portrayed and I was pissed at MTV. I know that they edit things to make people seem worse than they are, but at least CF did get some attention. Well, anyways....Welcome!!!!!

Hi Frankie, I was kind of letting all the "youngsters" welcome you, because, and I speak only for myself, I think "Real World" is a generational thing. I know I wasn't into it but but my daughters, 28 and 20, were. So I didn't see your show or your part in it. But as I am surmizing that from all the posts here, and your apology--it needs to be a thing of the past. Your head and heart is in a much better place now. We all have things in our past that we wish we could have do-overs. Also, as some have said--MTV promoted sensationalism. So I guess that makes you sensational! Different points of view are needed here, and I think your will be interesting! Hope to hear more from you soon. Welcome from an old(er) non-conformist herself!

I remember you from the real world as well. You reminded me of myself when i was your age. Still healthy with cf and doing what you wanted. I'm sorry you have b.cepacia now, i nknow it can be a handful at times. Im very glad you stopped smoking, and are now taking care of your self. Keep up with your treatments and always tryto keep your positive attitude. Good to see you doing well <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> P.s. i still watch real world and also " real world /road rules" challenges. Its kind of neat to see everyone again. Brad is still HOT !!

Well, thank you to everyone who had such warm welcomings and nice things to say.

i do not regret any of the things i have ever done, including on The Real World, as my life has a strict "No Regrets" clause. But knowing that i upset some people, kind of upset me, so i did want to extend appologies.

i did get offered to do a challenge. They are really strenuous, but that's not why i declined. Challenges may be tough, but i'm tougher, i'm sure. i said no because i really hate MTV. i don't like the lack of morals they present and defend to kids. i honestly believe that if a person screws up, they should own up to it and pay the consequences. Not just ignore it and say, "I'm just looking out for number one, baby. If people get hurt on the way, that's their own fault." i think that's irresponsible and basically... wrong.

And for those of you who were upset with my actions and have posted, highlighting the fact that, "you were very frustrated with me", or that i "embarassed you with my representation"... In case you missed it, my original post contained an appology, so let's not beat a dead horse. Not to mention the fact that claiming i "damaged" the CF community is a bit much, don't you think?
i'm not trying to be snotty, but... i'm <b>one</b> <i>human</i>, ease up and let it go... i did.
