I agree prednisone causes water retention but it does increase appetite as well which could increase fat gain assuming you are getting enough insulin. I know what Jane is saying though, I hate the side effects of prednisone, but love the energy and focus it gives me, so I always hate to lose...

Good queston, I have wondered this my self. Some shows or rides at the 'Florida theme parks' make use of these fog effects. Also, the mist used at some of these shows as well. I am sure its not a sterile water mist. :-)

Is there someone at home who has a key to your house who can get it an overnight it to you? Otherwise, it might be tough to get an eflow quickly. But you should be able to get a compressor and some nebkits at a local medical supply store with a faxed prescription from your dr office Monday...

Since he sounds clear, I would think maybe inflammation could be the cause. Has he been on any prednisone during the cleanout? If I feel tight and am not moving much air, prednisone helps a lot.
