    pneumococcal vaccine

I just got a message from my school suggesting people with underlying conditions get the pneumococcal vaccine. I don't think I've ever had one, and my CF clinic has never suggested it. Have I been missing something? (I did finally get the h1 n1 vaccine...) Thanks.

    corrosive effects of salt

So, I dropped my bicycle off at fix-it shop at the beginning of the week because the odometer was broken. At the time they said it looked like the wiring needed to be replaced. After further investigation, they say that "the wiring and several screws have been completely destroyed by what...

    cipro resistance patterns

So, upon reading the cipro threads, it seems some people have PA that became resistant to oral Cipro over time. I'm curious as to how frequently people were taking it before they became resistant, and if they were taking it in conjunction with any other antibiotics. Thanks in advance.

Hi - For all you sinus sufferers out there. If you've had a bunch of sinus surgeries, and you started on a nasal steroid. How did that work out? I'm trying to reduce my cough. It's often a dry cough, which I attribute to either asthma, post nasal drip, or GERD. I already take asthma stuff...

    Trizytek

Has anyone heard anything about Trizytek first hand? I saw the official news release. The results were positive, but not as good as expected - particularly overseas. This drug would be a nice little bonus if it worked. I'm tired of taking 10 bajillion pills a day.

    traveling with meds

Hello - What do people do about traveling with nebulizers and other prescription drugs? I'm worried they won't let me on the place with the nebs, but that the nebs will freeze and burst if I pack them in my check in bag. What do you all do? Thanks.
